On Thursday, a gun rights group filed a federal lawsuit saying a New Jersey law that bans individuals from owning stun guns, Tasers and other electronic weapons is unconstitutional. Filed by the New Jersey Second Amendment Society in U.S. District Court for New Jersey, the complaint cited a U.S. Supreme Court ruling in March that proposed having these arms was protected by the U.S. Constitution. Gun rights advocates filed a similar lawsuit a week ago against a stun gun ban in Washington, D.C.
